Basic tools to start making money online

Honestly, making money online is not as easy as reading a-b-c. On my own experience, making money online takes a lot of hardwrok and patience.

Nowadays, when almost everybody are searching the internet, this medium has become one of the fastest and most effective portal in making money. Many housewives and mothers chose to work home-based instead going going to a regular job. They get the chance to take care of their children full-time and earn high paying jobs at the same time. Many youths or college students use the power of internet to make money out of blogging. And majority of our entrepreneurs use internet to promote and sell their products and services.
I would like to focus starting today on the ways and techniques being used by online entrepreneurs and infopreneurs to make more sale and earn more profit. Either you sell products, service or just by merely providing information to your target visitors, all of these websites fall under one denominator. They all use techniques to make their websites standout from thousands and millions of competition. Remember, WWW does not only limit its scope on some certain country or category. It allows everyone interested to be part of it.


Now, my goal for you today is to learn the basic of optimizing your own website or blog by using Search Engine Optimization. I know you have heard about this term many times. But did you ever wonder how important it is to help you make money. I have written an article on this blog about understand SEO. Perhaps yo would want to browse a little bit and get acquainted with SEO.


There are many techniques you can do starting today. In fact with its great volume, you may not know which one should follow first. I myself got overwhelmed when I first learn this techniques.

1. Submit to Directories. Assuming you have completed your website, created your keywords. The next thing you need to do is to research on hundreds of directories where you can submit your URL or website. There are paid or free directories. When using directory submissions, you can get your website listed in Google and other major search engines in a matter of days sometimes, not the 4-6 weeks it takes using Google's "add a website" page. All you need to do is to spend some time to research directories and manually submit your webpage. I suggest manual submission instead of using Directory Submitter Tools.
   By submitting your webpage to highraking directories, you can easily create links and increased visibility to search engines. The more incoming links obtained from directory submission, the better. You are increasing the likelihood of search engine robots crawling your website more often.
   
2. The description meta tag is also fairly important. Search engines tend to use it to gather information on the topic or theme of the page. A well written description is phrased in two or three complete sentences with the strongest keyword phrases woven into each sentence. As with the title tag, some search engines will display the description on the search results pages, generally using it in whole or in part to provide the text that appears under the reference link.
   
3. Good content is the most important aspect of search engine optimization. The easiest and most basic SEO rule is search engine spiders can be relied upon to read basic body text 100% of the time. By providing a search engine spider with basic text content, you offer the engines information in the easiest format for them to read. While some search engines can strip text and link content from Flash files, nothing beats basic body text when it comes to providing information to the spiders. You can almost always find a way to work basic body text into a site without compromising the designer's intended look, feel and functionality.
